This is not a
history book. That has been done. Many times.
Meticulous writers like Tom Reynolds (“Wild Ride”) and Brock Yates (“Outlaw
Machine”) have already exhumed the skeletal remains of early biker culture
from the historical tar pits of post-WWII America and neatly assembled them
into an enormous, impeccably clean and highly detailed fossilized model.
This monster looms over much of modern mainstream society like a hungry
T-Rex might have hovered and salivated over a frightened and quivering cave
man.
We, however, are going to put some flesh on those bones. We are going to
breathe life into the beast. We are going to discover if the brute existed
--and still exists-- only to run amok, trying to satisfy an insatiable
anti-social blood-lust or if there really is a lot of gentleness in this
roaring giant.
